As most of you sports fanatics may know, our very own Minnesota Twins took a tragic loss on October 11th, knocking them out of the American League Division Series (ALDS). In the first game of the series, the Twins lost 4-6 to the Houston Astros, but came out stronger in the next game winning 6-2. The third game, ending in a 1-9 Twins loss, was the hardest to watch. It was all down to the 4th game of the ALDS. If the Twins could pull it off and win, they would then play the Astros in a tiebreaker. If they lost, they would be knocked out of the running for the World Series. As the game went on, it was not looking good. The Twins were swinging, and definitely missing. They had a total of 3 hits the entire game, whereas teams usually have on average about 8 or 9 hits a game. Sadly, while the Twins could not pull off a win, the future is bright for our very own Breck Boys Baseball team.
